Saving to original MP3 file

I have a few MP3's on my computer and I would like to change the tag's of these to something more meaningful ready for when my iPod arrives.

I have been experimenting with EphPod, but even with the setting to save to MP3 set it still doesn't update the original MP3 file.

Any ideas?

I cannot help you with tagging via EphPod since I do not use that. I didn't even knew that was possible and don't really care either.

I use separate programs for that purpose such as UltraTagger. You can also check out ID3-TagIT or mp3tag.

First off, ephpod only sees the files that are on you iPod. Even then, the "save to mp3 tag" option has never worked.
