A quick question of cards.
After some very useful help from the forums, I have found out my firewire card is no good with the iPod and need to get a new one.
Can someone recommend one that will definitely work without problems? And where (in the UK) is it best to buy this kind of stuff?

Best cards are Adaptec 4300 and Orangelink cards (from Orange Micro). Not sure where to get them in the UK.

And you might want to just try your card before you buy one. Or you can buy one of the good ones but don't open it until you try yours.

Even the most problematica cards (Audigy) work for some folks.
