okay, I need to replace my extension cord for my 71's. I was also thinking about purchasing the ipod remote for my pod. My question is whether or not the ipod remote wire is long enough to serve as an extension cord.

Yeah, the ipod remote cord is long enough, but u gota clip it to your shirt, otherwise it jus drags your earphones down.
