Alright so I was trying to see if this audible thing was any good so I signed up for the free trial and all picked the books and all that good stuff.
Problem is I can't get the audible stuff and my music on at the same time without things getting messed up ie. no playlists database getting courpted.
Is there some trick to getting MC9 and audible to play nice together?

They are supposed to work fine together. I just don't use audible so I don't know anything about it.
There are some other audible users around here. Someone should post. If not the iPod thread over at JRiver is a good source.

I'm a regular Audible user, but I don't use MC9. I do know that the following combo's work.
MMJB 7.5 and 8.0 plus AudibleManager
Xplay 1.3 plus AudibleManager
Ephpod 2.73 alone or along with AudibleManager
I tried MC9 a while back and it didn't work for me, but they won't let me try the new version, you only get one trial ever, I guess.

Thanks Guys I got it to work finally.
You have to download the file then play it in realplayer before MC9 will see it.
Kind of annoying but I just want to try out audible to see if I like it or not.

Scarri,
There really would be no reason to have to play the file in realplayer first. For example, I don't even have realplayer, and no one else who uses MC9 with Audible has ever mentioned that.
But if that works for now, great. And if you decide you like Audible and want to try to sort it out later so you don't have to use realplayer, check back and I'm sure either myself or someone can help you get around that.

Yeah I don't know why that works but it does. here is what was happening incause someone wants to give me a better option.
I'm useing the latest beta of MC9. I download the file and tell MC9 to import from the directory it is in. the files get scaned and but it doesn't think they are audio files. I tryed quite over and over to get it to work. Once I play the file in realplayer it will import just fine.
Also the reason I got realplayer was because everythime I tryed to import a box would pop-up telling me I needed it to play the files.
