I went in search of a way to connect my iPod to my exixtign car stereo today. First I went to Best Buy and they tried to sell me a Dension unit, they then moved on to a new stereo that was set up to take an iPod. We then ended up looking at the SOny stereos that they said I could run an RCA Moster cable from to accomlish the set-up. I then went to a place called Car Toys that specializes in car stereos. They were talking about an FM modulator. Both places were talking $200 to $300 to set me up. On a hunch, I went to Circuit CIty and they had a aux box that hooked into my existing CD changer set up on my factory unit. They also set me up with a dock for the iPod that would charge the iPod and transmit the signal from the dock. All in all it was about $80 and it sounds great.
