View Full Version : ephpod cuts off AAC files

AAC files I upload with ephpod only play about the first 25% of the track.
When uploading the tracks ephpod show the bitrate as 16 hz (they are 32 kbps AACs).

The tracks were ripped with iTunes on a mac and are fine. They play correctly if I use iTunes to upload them (I don't have access to a mac any more, and I only have an XP computer now so I can't use iTunes to upload them again).

Anyone else have a problem with ephpod and AACs? Is there a way to fix this?

what version of ephpod do u have? i used to have that problem too. i think they fixed it in the 2.73 version... :unsure:

2.70 or 2.71. I'll try the newer version, thanks.

Hi,

solved the upgrade to 2.73 the problem with the short aac/mp4 files? I still have the problem, even with ephpod 2.73. Btw. should be there a new version number on the splash screen? I still see the 2.70a.

Any other ideas? Are the special settings to do in Quicktime? I like the aac format and it would be nice to use it.
