I need a way to use the CD Changer input on my '04 Jeep Liberty. I don't need the head unit to control the iPod in any way. I have the iPod mounted using the Proclip system and it is right near the steering wheel so I need an audio only input solution for my stock head unit. I just need to find out the pin assignments on the cd changer input and whether or not it is line level so I can build my own cable. If anyone out there has any experience with this or Chrysler head units in general, that would be awesome. I'm ust not happy with my iTrip. Thanks!

HI
it is not that simple the radio is not going to open the cd changer port to feed audio in
you will have to plug the cd changer and maybe split the audio in
the other way to do this is to buy an interface that makes the radio believe that the cd changer is pressent
the radio will show disc one track one and you can input audio from the ipod or any other audio source
