Say u have an old ipod gen 3 and u send in for the replacement program...will they send u an old gen 3 model? or a new model?

im guessing either they will send you your ipod back with a new battery or a refurbished 3g. someone who has experience of the service should be along to help you shortly.
edit: if you want a new battery you really should install one yourself - at least that way you can install a far better and higher capacity one for much cheaper! check out http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Newer%20Technology/BIPOD850M3/ for more info (watch the videos at the bottom for an idea of how it works). just my opinion mind :)
