Poor Availability of Accessories...

What gives? Apple rolls out a new version of the iPod six to eight weeks before the accessories for this new version are available! I've driven to three different Apple stores and also Fry's Electronics (BIG Apple dealer here in Southern CA) and NOTHING! Finally, I decided to just order them direct from apple.com and I'm now being told that nothing will ship for at least six weeks!!!

Needless to say, I'm a bit frustrated. Does Apple do this sort of thing often?

Well I'd rather have this scenario, rather than apple delaying the sale of new iPods altogether.

Unfortunately this is not too rare, but before too long third party retailers will start their accessory production. Patience! It will be worth it!

I think its their strategy man!!!!

Think about it: people spent most (or even all) of their saving $$ to buy the iPod... Now, Apple is delaying the accessories for one reason --> so that people can save up more money to spend !!!!!!!:D
