View Full Version : Music Match not Recognizing My Portable Device

When I go into music match it does not recognize any portable devices. When I try using updater 2.1 it says that the iopd is not connected. Anyone have any clue what's wrong I'm getting very frustrated. Please Help!

Join the club mate - this seems to be happening to a lot of us at the moment.
perhaps its a faulty batch? i've tried everything i can think of and everything suggested on this site to get it to connect, but nothing has worked.

Where did you get the updater 2.1? I also have problem with software recognizing my iPod. I was finally able to have it recognize it after I install all the software under C:\programs instead of default C:\program Files.

I'm begginning to think the same thing PeteW. I'm seeing way too much of this recently all the same problem....

okay... I've sort of got that problem... my ipod disconnects everytime i try to do anything with it. it'll stay connected until i open up the device manager in mmjb or ipod manager, in which case it simply disconnects. it's rather frustrating seeing as how i had no music on it when the problem started, i've not been able to use it at all. tragic, i tell you. any suggestions?

Have you tried iTunes instead of MMJB? That program (mmjb) has tons of problems......
