Formatting iPod only reads 39.1mb

Hi:

I just convered my 10 gig 1st generation Mac iPod to Windows. Before I can use Ephpod I need to format my iPod drive. Well I can see the iPod in Windows Explorer as drive I: When I right click then choose format the only option for disk capacity I am given is 39.1mb.

What's up with that?

I have already gone through the process of formatting and then using Ephpod and it worked, but my drive really was only 39.1mb.

So I've run the converter again and I'm back at square one.

How do I format my iPod drive to the proper 10gig drive that it is.

just fixed it. I needed to unplug and reset the ipod before starting it up and didn't need to format it as the updater did it
