This may pertain to some set ups, and may be way out for others, but.....

I have an XP machine with firewire at work, and XP laptop without firewire, and a home desktop with firewire, but win 98. I bailed on MMJB and downloaded ephpod. There is a 98 version, but it is not as good as the XP version. So when I want to organize from home, rather than using the 98 version, I connect the ipod via the firewire to the 98 computer, share it on the network, connect the XP laptop to the network and map the ipod as a network drive. I then start up ephpod on the laptop and select the mapped ipod drive in the wizard, and i am cruising.

I suppose this would work with the ipod as a USB drive also. Just thought it was worthwhile to let everyone know that you can share the ipod on a network and use ephpod remotely.

I bet you can't do that with MMJB
