cassette adapter

i have a older car that has a side inserting tape player so most cassette adapters dont work.

for my cassette adapter the chubby side of the cassette goes in last, or the part where the tape is visible.
does any1 know of a tape adapter that works for this type of tape player?

what? that would have to be the worst tape deck ever made. so with you fingers on the fat part, and exposed tape facing you, you stick the skinny part of the tape in?

Side inserting cassettes are no problem because most adapters allow the cable to swivel 90 degrees.
I've never heard of a backwards inserting cassette. How about posting a link to a picture or at least the brand and model. If it's that strange chances are it won't work with an iPod anyway if it works at all so I'd be buying a new HU first of all.
