ftp question

Ok, I'm a bit afraid to ask this because I realize it will show some of my ignorance, but am I able to download files directly to my iPod via an ftp server? Or do I still have to go via Ephpod,etc., first?

Sorry if someone else has already asked this. I did a search but didn't come up with anything.

If you are talking about non music files, yes you can. It's just another hard drive, but if you are talking about music, it has to go through ephpod, mc9, xplay or some other program.

Yeah, what revmike is saying is that if you want to be able to play the files on the iPod, you need to use one of the programs he mentioned.
