Hi,
New to the forums, have been lurking a while. :D
I recently bought a cassette adaptor to use with my iPod. I've tried it on 3 tape players; works on one of them. On the player in my car, the tape switches sides and rewinds/fast forwards itself, then ejects. In my home tape deck, it plays for a second or two, then stops playing as if there is no tape inside. These are newer tape decks that aren't cooperating with the tape adaptor.
Anybody had this same problem, or any recommendations for tape adaptors that work with "smart" tape decks?

I had the same problem with one of my tape adapters. Actually it was working fine forever and then suddenly started switching sides over and over. I had another one sitting around the house and it has been working fine. Maybe a different brand would change things.

"Will SmartDeck cause my tape player to constantly auto-reverse?
No. SmartDeck is designed to act just like a real cassette tape, preventing unwanted auto-reversing."
