I have the newest 30GB ipod SW 2.01 and I have the problem that my ipod drains the battery completely within a couple of hours (e.g. over night). This happens after I removed him from the craddle and keep him switched off and locked in my ipod cae.
Very cumbersome
Is there a fix for this

go to extras>clock>alarm clock and make sure alarm is "off". same thing use to happen to me and this fixed it.

Just bought my iPod 4 days ago. Last night i charged it for almost 6 hrs, n used it for 3 hrs, tops. left it switched off overnight, as did holgerreichardt. today the battery was low, n after charging it again, the settings, eg my clock, calendar, reset itself.
Alarm clock is always off, as suggested by Debaser. The first time i used it, the battery drained quickly too but i just thought it'd take some time for the battery to take shape.
Help! You think my iPod is faulty?
