Alpine CDA-9851 vs CDA-9853

Okay I have the choice of picking either of these two HU's. I am also picking up the IPOD adapter. First things are first. I have 1 12" JL sub and 250/1 amp. I'm wanting clarity. I want to know your reviews/opinions about these two and why I should probably go with one over the other. Is the EQ on the 9853 that much better than 9851's BBE? Like I said before, I'm looking for the HU to make the best quality sound with my IPOD.
Which would you buy and WHY?

edit -- it would also be nice to have the ARTIST and SONG on different lines, so itd be easier to read...

I wish I could help you but I only have used the 9851 so that's all I know. I would imagine the EQ would be nicer to customize your sound but that would be up to you if you'd notice the difference. I think that the 9851 has very nice sound with Bass and Treble center frequency control and bass "Q" control (whether you want a narrow or wide control of bass frequency boost).

I've heard some people say that they don't like the Glide Touch that comes on the 9853 so that would be something else to consider. Good luck and let us know which you picked and what you think.
