I sort of have a unique problem. This is confusing, so I hope someone will understand what I am trying to do.
I moved my ipod music to a new computer. I followed the directions on the apple.com site about how to do this. In the directions, it shows you how to copy your music onto your ipod to put on a new computer.
During this process, your music is copied twice onto your ipod, which takes up double the room you had before. For example, before I copied, I had 8 GB taken up on my 40 GB ipod. Suddenly I had 16 GB taken up. All of your songs on your ipod are copied twice on the drive.
I thought somehow when I copied my music onto my new computer it would get rid of the extra 8 GB. It didn't. This is my problem. I need to get rid of the extra copied music on my ipod... the copies. Is there some way to get delete ALL of the music on an ipod and just start over? Should I reset my ipod? How do I do that?
Sorry so confusing. Thanks!
