I'm hoping this adapter wouldn't use the headphone jack on the ipod as that would seem pointless. The reason I ask is because someone (not giving a name) seems to be using a KCA-420i but his picture shows he has it hooked up to the headphone jack. Before I spend money on a 9853 HU and KCA-420i I want to make sure it's using the lineout on the ipod. Thanks for any info. I search for pictures and found nothing but what I explained above.
