I've recently recieved my iPod mini (blue) 2G from the apple store and I am still undecided as to which case I'd like my iPod to be in. My main concern is the compactness of the casing (minimal bulk possible), scratch resistance and screen protection. I do not require a touchwheel protector for my iPod, nor do I need solid protection at the bottom and top of my iPod mini. What model do you guys reccommend me? I like the transparency to show off the colour of my iPod (after all, I bought it with that particular color, I wanna enjoy it too!).
Please keep in mind that price is not of an issue to me, I'm just aiming for style, effectiveness and compactness.
Thanks in advance guys!

I too would like to know which offers the better protection.
I'm mainly looking for protection from falls and from bumping it around.
I have narrowed it down to these two and I need help as well.

the contour case looks nice, but I think the rubber on the Agent 18 adds that little bit of extra protection.. but if you want to be able to see your ipod and provide maximum protection you have to remember you are buy a plastic cover... you drop it, and it will crack..

I'm currently using the mini shield and I feel that if offers excellent protection and it is very durable. Also I like the look that it gives my mini becuase it is see thru.

just got my mini shield in yesterday. its great! perfectly see through, doesnt add much bulk to the mini, and seems really durable. also, it can fit the apple belt clip and armband if you take off the back part of the shield and just leave the front covered. (thats what someone said in another thread) . its great! highly recommended.

I've got the iSee off of eBay for 15 bucks, shipping and all. This little bugger is bomb proof. I like how it covers all of the bottom. Thats where I had the most damage on my previous iPod.
I found that it's much more secure on both the iSeen and the mini shield when you use the included apple belt clip. It makes it alot less prone to sliding out when you push your dock connector into the bottom.
what about the thickness of these different cases? I don't want to add to much bulk.
