I had the iCruze installed in my 04 BMW 3, The iCruze seems to have a lot of problems, it keeps loosing communication with the iPod, it locks up ALL the time, I need to keep turning the radio on / off to start the iPod up again and again and again. WOW. It is getting real annoying. The iCruze was very expensive in comparison to other adapters but I was very happy with other Monster products. This one is BAD NEWS! I should have taken my brothers advice and purchased the Blitzsafe adapter instead.
I spoke to the salesman at Best Buy he said that he was aware of the problems that they had a lot come back. I will have them remove the iCruze for a full refund for the product but that will not refund the installation. I would suggest that if you want the iCruze remember my problems and save your self the headaches.

I wanted to respond with a similar iCruze experience. I purchased the iCruze, the Chrysler interface module, and the LCD. A rather expensive collection of items plus professional install as recommended. These were a gift for my excited wife for her Jeep Liberty. She loved the idea of being able to use the factory installed steering wheel controls for song control, and the LCD for viewing.

The short of it is is this. When it works, is it great. BUT.... The resetting issue is ludicrous.
a quote from Monster tech support:
The iCruze may need to be re-set. If you can reach the iCruze unit
easily, then unplug the black 10-pin Molex plug for about 30 seconds and
then plug it back in.

My wife will be thrilled to know that the product has to be "reset" every-time she gets in her car and want's to listen to her iPod. No problem honey, just use a small flat screwdriver to pry up the shifter panel, remove the change holder/ashtray, then use a small phillips to remove the screw hidden behind, then finally use the small flat screwdriver again to pry off the faceplate panel. Then squeeze your tiny fingers back behind the stereo to remove the Molex plug for 30 seconds. Then put everything back. Repeat every time this locks up. Don't worry honey, you can safely do this while driving.

This "lock-up" problem occurs very often, and is repeatable 100% of the time. Sure you may be able to place the device in a location that is easier to locate, but this is a stupid solution, that is the result of a product that is defective. Yet, they have issued no recall, or provided any avenue for correction. My parts were ordered online, and the company I ordered from will not take them back because they were installed. The cost of installation is not refundable either. All in all, avoid this product unless you can get a full refund on all items and installation. The LCD is a nice addition if you don't want to replace your head unit. Most of the other products like this, don't have any way of displaying song title/artist information, so this is nice. I just wished it worked, and so does my very disappointed wife. (Ouch)
