error 4280 itunes error while burning

Hello
I am trying to burn discs in itunes & keep getting an error 4280, preceded by the drive spitting out the cd & cancellig the burn.
I have tried several google searches but can only find a fix for a sony cdrom drive. I have a samsung cdrw ts-h292a drive. The fix on the apple website is also only for the sony drive, I have also tried updating the firmware for the drive with no luck, anybody any clues???

Mostly to bump up this issue.

I was having no difficulty burning until I upgraded Itunes to 6.0.0.18 Whatever the latest version is.

Now I'm getting 4280. I'm using the same brand of discs as before.

Has anyone installed 6.0 and then rolled back to 4.x? Are there issues with that?

Itunes support flat out refused to diagnose the problem. The manufacturer of the drive said to uninstall/reinstall (which didn't work) and they insist it should be taken up with apple.

The posted fix on apple's knowledge base didn't work even though my drive is manufactured by sony.
