i've had an ongoing problem with itunes/my computer not recognizing my ipod...and people recommended using ephpod. my ipod works fine as far as playing music (not through my computer)...
(details on my issues can be found at: iPodlounge Forums > Problems & Solutions > iPod > experienced ipod loungers--please help)
i tried ephpod, got this message:
the drive you have choosen does not appear to have ipod directory structure. all ipods have a main directory called ipod_control, and several subdirectories, including 20 hidden directories of music files.
you will not able to continue with ephpod unless you build this directory structure.
there was a button that said "build ipod directory structure" which i pressed...and this failed. it said cannot create ipod_control...
does this mean my ipod is broken? do i need to send it in?
