Deleting Songs on IPOD

On my ipod in iTunes, how can i delete a song in a playlist and then it will automatically delete the song off my ipod too?

With your Ipod connected and iTunes running, highlight the song you want to delete on your iPod and hit the "delete" key on your keyboard

I hit the delete key and the song is only deleted from the playlist. Not from the actual IPod

You need to delete the song from your iPod directory, not your iTunes playlist.

delete the song from the itunes playlist and then 'update ipod'.
