View Full Version : i cant change any of my info (iTunes)

inside of itunes i wanted to change how a band name is writen but now i cant. When i select the songs>r-click>select get info>type in the artist name>hit OK> and go back to my library nothing has changed.
Any help?

Are the files read-only/on a CD?

the files are .mp3 on my computer. i will double check if they are read only but i cant till later (i am at school)

i went to go check where the file was to see if it was read only for something but i cant find it. ususlaly the song are under my docs>my music> and so on and under itunes but all i see if it in folders by artist and since there is no artist..... and when i goto change the info it says processing; and goes through the list and when it is done nothing has changed. plz help this is bad for my organization( which is a lot worse that most people think with 2000k+ songs)
