CD-RW error

When I installed iTunes (Currently on ver 4.7.1.30) it wouldn't recognise my DVD drive so all my music is copied to iTunes via my CD-RW drive. Every time I put a CD in though I get the following error pop up.

Desktop Access to specified device,path or file is denied

When you click OK iTunes imports the CD fine but the error message is very annoying! I am pretty good on PC's so feel free to use tech jargon with me.

Maybe just redownload iTunes.

Been there done that! Strangely though I have just upgraded my version of iTunes and everything is working fine now. Those pesky bugs.......

Have you got some sort of software firewall running?
When you put the CD in iTunes is trying to access CDDB to indentify the CD. Your firewall may be giving you the message.

same error with new itunes!! It happens every time I put in CD for ripping with Itunes active.
