Hi, I'm new here so im not sure if this is the appropriate place to post.

My question is this:
I am getting a powerbook soon and i was wondering if there was a way to ,first of all, unload the ipod songs[i read the article about how to do it so now im just wondering if it is a complicated process and if the song titles go back to their original name(i uploaded my friends burnt cd and the song titles were off)] and secondly, is it possible to transfer the songs from the pc onto the apple powerbook via usb or firewire? If so what will i need(special wires) and how?

I realize this is a lot to ask, but you would be helping me out greatly.

sincerely,
Pete

-Apple article
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300173
-You can use an Ethernet cable to do the transfer
-You can get the software - Move2Mac - that Apple sells to transfer.
-You can use software to transfer the songs off of the iPod onto the PB. Check www.versiontracker.com or use
PodUtil - www.kennettnet.co.uk/software/podutil.php
or
YamiPod - www.yamipod.com

USB transfer from computer to computer is not possible.

Welcome.

USB transfer isn't possible? I've seen a lot of cables for sale just for that. Although it might not work going PC to Mac.
