Okay, on most (if not all) of the cases' websites, the 3G iPods are listed as being 10, 15, or 30. I just got a new 20... and I don't even know for sure if it's 3G, but I'm pretty sure (it's got the 4 buttons at the top). My question is, if I was to order a case, what size would I get? 10/15? Or 30? Help please. Also, one more question... I'm trying to decide between iSkins and a variety of cases.. my question is... do iSkins protect the iPod well enough from drops? I have a tendency to drop things sometimes, and the case that came with my iPod (in the box) seems to do alright with me dropping it, lol. But the iSkin just doesn't look as... shock-absorbant. Please help.

The size you want is the 10/15 GB. They are exactly the same size as the 20GB.
The 30GB is the same size as the 40 GB.
The 20 GB and 40 GB are 3G.

I don't know about shock protection as i don't currently have my iSkin (yet!). I will be ordering it in a few days. :D

From what i've read, the iSkin is highly recommended. Which is why i'm getting one!

Hope this helps

Thank you for that information, that helps a lot. So now I know I've got a 3G 20 GB. Cool.

Anyone know about the iSkin's protective qualities?

iSkins provide a 3mm barrier of the highest grade silicone. With every order a crystal iShade is provided that offers the best screen protection available.

For extra protection I alway keep my eXo iSkinned iPod in the bonus zip case. It will take something bad to happen to damage with all this on.

Well okay, I understand that it protects the screen. That's great, but if I jar or drop my iPod, is it going to protect it more from erasing the memory than if I had nothing on it? Thanks for your replies.

Just from owning one, I think it'll protect it...but it's not 100% protected from damage, of course. I'm sure if you like...threw your iPod across the room while in an iSkin the iSkin would do nothing to save it. :P But the iSkin definitely makes the iPod FEEL a lot more durable...but I don't really want to test it by dropping my iPod from various heights...

I think it provides as much protection as the black case that came with the iPod.
