new to this - couldn't work out what forums there are.

Anyway, this is a quaestion of 'how do I' rather than an error/fault type question. I wish to add another iPod to my Windows XP PC. How do I do it? I have a second iTunes library but it doesn't recognise my 2nd iPod, presumably because I haven't entered it's serial no anywhere as I didn't load the second software disc. Ought I to load my second software disc but in a different person's space? I'd have thought this would just overwrite the first load.

Thanks in anticipation

Welcome. Just install the software on the disk and set up the iPod like you did the first one. Go to edit>preferences>iPod while iPod is connected and set one iPod (the first one) to 'manually manage songs & playlists'.

I have 3 iPods and have set each one up the same way and I set them on manual sync.
