I'm on a posting spree tonight, sorry everyone...
Anyway, I was looking at the white iSkins, and I thought it would be neat to get one and custom paint it. But I'm not sure what kind of paint would work best on the iSkin (or if it would even work at all)...has anyone tried this?

I'm not gonna bother painting it cause after the paint dries and you stretch the iskin I'm pretty sure the paint will crack. So many colors to choose from why bother painting it?

Well, that depends what kind of paint you use. I can imagine an acrylic cracking, but I've seen other semi-transparent paints that act more like dye, and are very liquidy, which would probably stain the skin, as opposed to sitting on the surface and cracking when it stretches. (I'm just guessing, here, since I haven't actually tried it yet of course)

And yeah, the colors are great, but I enjoy taking personalization a step further and doing my own custom thing sometimes, especially with asymmetrical patterns. I'm an artist...i can't help it....

cool, so maybe buy a white iskin and test it out to see if it can work. If it does i'm sure alot of people would want to know.

There is a special paint we use in China that does not crack, If you have seen our iBook keyboard protectors and have tried stretching them you will notice that the painted letters do not crack. Ask your art supply store if they have it.

Thanks Lajo! :) Do you have anymore specifics about this paint (like a brand name, or anything), so that I know what to ask the art store for...?
