blasted Xp is the bane of my existance

I love my ipod. However, it really sucks when my pc refuses to recognize it. Basically, what I need help with is this: The iPod using USB2 has stopped being recognized by the pc. I had used the f drive and things worked well then one day it just didn't work anymore. I have both itunes and ephpod on my pc and neither of them is accessable. Any suggestions as to what i can do to get my pc to acknowledge the drive and ipod so as i can continue with my music experience would be most welcome and i will also name a child after you. thanx much

Have you tried resetting the iPod yet?
