PS3 Vs Xbox 360

I believe that Nintendo is going to bring in a full comeback and battle for first place with Microsoft.

Sony will be in last place this console war, mainly because they won't release their system early like they did with the PS2.

The PS3 will be at the top of my list of things to get next year (or whenever it's being released). The specs look AMAZING. :o Yeah Nintendo are releasing some sort of console to compete with the PS3 and Xbox 2/360 called the "Revolution". Can't wait to find out a bit more about these consoles. :D

nintendo will go the way of sega in the coming yeats i bet...and i will most likly buy the next xbox just for halo 3..that ending in halo 2 just leaves ya wanting more..but i will need ps3 for the grand turismo also ..i need them both >_<

lol i bought an xbox just for halo2 and the game sucked pc halo1 one i believe is better

PS3 is expected to launch later so people expect it to have more power, which would be the reverse of the PS2 and Xbox.

One thing rumored is that Xbox360 will have an add-on hard drive which will be dockable with the console. Some have compared it to an iPod. It will be able to store your music for customized game soundtracks and game content (saves, settings, downloaded content).

Will people who already own iPods buy an iPod-like hard-drive add-on for the Xbox 360? Is customized music tracks for games enough of a reason to buy a separate unit just for the Xbox 360? Or will people just listen to the iPods they already own?

Storing it for game content is important but nobody really goes over to someone else's place to play games, unless they're still in school. Xbox360 and XBL are suppose to appeal to gamers who are out of school, because they can play multiplayer games via XBL, which is suppose to be the next best thing to playing someone in person.

If they price it around the price of a memory card, then people will get it. Doesn't sound likely if they have a hard drive in this thing. If it takes off, it could be a good business for Microsoft, since peripherals have bigger profits than consoles themselves.

But will people really buy a portable hard-drive media player/storage device which can only be used with the console? Or will they buy iPods instead?

Sony owns the console industry. they attract the best developers from not only the US, but also Japan (Squar Enix for ex)

Wow, I better save my pennys and get a new console, About 4 years ago all I had was a nintendo 1 and I finally got a PS1, I am perfectly fine playing PS1 though, but I do want to play online
Damn, I think they need to come out with more games for the iPod, those are the games I play the most :P

i just got the 'slim' ps2. i really like it and i am going to hook it up so i can do online gaming soon. i think i will end up getting the ps3 durring the summer though......
