Hi everyone,
If you remember, I was the previous poster that was vacillating between the E2 and the E3. Thanks to all of your great advice, I opted for the E3 which I received just the other day.
I suppose this question may apply to the E2 and the E5, but it's mostly specific to the E3 since the shape is unique from the other two:
Does anyone who own a pair of these NOT insert the buds using the over-the-ear method outlined in the manual? I found it much easier and comfortable to reverse the L/R and turn it upside down (so that the the buds are still pointing inwards) so that the cord hangs down in front of you. I also tilt the buds slightly rearwards so that they are slightly pointed upwards and inwards (although the inwards part automatically happens because of the angle). It works great and I couldn't be happier with them.
If I did it the way the manual says to do it, I'd be fiddling with it for what seems like hours to get it just right.
