I am goonna buy a upgrade to the stock apple 4gb headphones! So i am a liitle confused on a good head phone buy. Are noise cancelling head phones the best? If so what are some cheap ones that are pretty good in the range of around 40 to 50 bucks?
Thanks for your help!

I know some good one's that are $65 and they are the Shure E2c's. Also there are Sony ex-51/71 which 51's are about $40. You can get some good reviews on the Reviews section of the lounge.

Welcome.

Hmm.. they aren't there I'm quite surprised since they have a lot of electronics. Well anyway Best Buy by my house has them for $40. You can probably get a better deal on eBay if you wanted.

umm do you guys know that neither the sonys or the shures are really noise cancelling. they are sound isolating. sound canceling headphones emit negative waves of sound that cut out some external sound. noise reduction headphones are like plugs that create a seal on your ear. noise canceling actually cut out noise, while noise reduction headphones simply plug your ear up so you cant hear external sounds. however, in my experience, noise canceling technology isn't all that great. i recommend getting either of the headphones afalconsvick suggested, theyre just not noise canceling.

oh and the headphones you were looking at from circuitcity are actually noise cancelling.
