iPod Shuffle Battery Lights

I'm not sure if this has been covered.. but I'll ask it anyway.


I have a shuffle, and I know what the battery lights indicate. However, does anybody know HOW much time i will get with the amber and red lights. i know if i get to red, I need to recharge, but do i have 15 minutes or so?

If anybody has done a study, or has any info on this, I would appreciate feedback. I think its just something that we should know.

when i see red, i have about 2-4 minutes.

I have gotten about 2 hours out of mine with a red light.

I also charged mine 2 night ago & it showed green when done charging. after listening to it for about 3 hours it was already yellow when i checked it. I'm guessing it didn't charge good because I didn't have my laptop plugged in - The USB ports may not provide power while running on batteries only.
