Hey everyone, I don't like the apple stock headphones. I'm not an audiophile by any means but I hate hearing distored base. I listen to a lot of rap music that is heavy on base and it always ends up sounding distorted if played at a normal volume. I don't need anything special just something that will serve it's purpose. I run with my headphones, but they are more primarily used when walking. I was looking at the Yahba Opus Earphones. Has anyone tried them? Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Don G. search the forum for a review on the Opus earphones. But let me save some trouble and say they freaking suk. I would recommend the Shure E2c for $62.00.

yeah i saw those but they're a little to expensive....im not really concerned with tuning all of my surroundings out.....my main concern is comfort and getting rid of the rattling, horrible base that the stock headphones produce....also if possible, i want to keep the white look of my old headphones.

The sony 81SL does offer decent quality, but their bass is a little bit muddy and their high is a little bit shrill. If you want to know what i mean by this, go into your car, turn up all bass level and trebel level to maximum and play a CD with it. That's what it sounds like, well assuming you have a stock radio w/ stock speakers in your car. But you're looking to spend like $40 dollars on earphones and not a penny more, 81SL i think is your best bet.
