Ipod ones were rubbish, my sony ones have finally died, so need some help! Could buy off the internet, but preferably from a shop in the uk, so I can have a look at them etc. My budget is about £20 but not sure if I want to pay that much as I always seem to have them falling apart!

Sennheiser MX400/500/550 are a good bet and you can pick these up at most HiFi stores (these are earplugs)

Some of the Koss are well regarded but they might be a bit over budget the (KSC series)

The Sony MDR EX51/71 (canalphones) I had these and was very happy they can be found for about £25 online and are pretty sturdy.

Good luck

Sony MDR-ED31LP (http://www.igearbox.com/product_info.php?cPath=45_26&products_id=203) are great. They look great and also sound great which is a must for most people. They fit in your ears really well with out causing any discomfort and are extremely comfortable even after you have been wearing them for a long period of time. The only thing i found with these headphones was that the cable gets damaged very easily and so you defiantly have to keep them in the protective case that is provided with them.
