Tunes/Photos - Two different computers?

I've just myself a lovely new 60gb photo, and I'm a bit confused as to what I can do with it.
I have all my music on my PC, and I want to keep it there - it's got a massive HD. However, I keep all my photos on my Mac, because I love to use iPhoto. Is it possible to sync the music from one PC, and photos from another?

And when I plug it into my PC, will it complain about the photo library not being linked? And if I disable photo syncing on the PC, will that affect syncing on the Mac?

I decided to try it - and it worked quite well.
After I synced on the Mac (let it delete the photos my PC put on it), I plugged it back into my PC - which gave me an error '-50', saying it couldn't update the music on there. I looked in the iPod settings, and it was set to transfer music from 'My Pictures' - soon as I disabled that it happily updated the tunes.

So as long as I disable photo syncing afterwards on the Mac, it works. :)
