i'm looking for some full detailed information regarding installation of ipod into a serie 7 bmw (e38) age 1996

Denison makes a unit compatible with some BMW radios. You'll have to find out if your radio is compatible. The Ice Link plus has received good reviews in this forum.

Don't think the BMW integration w/ iPod that the factory offers is available for pre-2004 BMWs.

well, its available for 2002 models for some cars such as 325 but the stupid thing is it can pretty much be used if u have a music-stripped down car. Since the exceptions are 6-cd changer, casette player and something else as well.
Is there any other way to mount and iPod in a BMW 325? Denison solution is not that cheap and seems very complicated for DIY.
