go to the apple site, support, select ipod, then fill out a repair form. just say your headphones became staticy and they'll send you a brand new one no questions asked. i've done this like 4 times already for my friends who didn't have internet access.

Buffoonist, I know you're trying to help but what you're tellinghim to do is fraud. Someone STOLE his earbuds. They aren't faulty or broken. Apple doesn't cover theft of any kind and what you're telling him to do is highly illegal. Not good!!

Cloo never said his earphones were stolen .. Read carefully before making accusations. NOT GOOD LEARN TO READ AND COMPREHEND!

Go easy on Buffoonist.
He knows not what he does. (It might help if he turns down those replacement iPhones. )

You really live up to your name, Buffoonist! GCsMADEman CLEARLY states that his earbuds were STOLEN:
Does Anyone Have Any extra Stock Apple Earbuds? Mines where stolen yesterday
And just because Cloo didn't state his earbuds were stolen doesn't mean telling him how to commit fraud is ok. Unless the earbuds are FAULTY are they covered under Apple's warranty, not because you got ganked for your earbuds, lost them or want a new pair for the heck of it.
Reading is fundamental. Hooked on Phonics worked for me but obviously not for you. "NOT GOOD LEARN TO READ AND COMPREHEND!"
Take your own ill-spelled, ill-constructed and ill-punctuated advice, numbskull.

But, it is fraud if you are lying

Good lord. People, before you accuse Buffoonist of encouraging fraud, go back and reread the thread and also make sure to note who said what. It wasn't Buffoonist but aznjosh who provided details for obtaining free replacement earbuds. Then cloo24, who is not the original poster and who did not say that his earbuds were stolen, asked basically where to fill one out. Buffoonist merely said he would provide a link to the repair form, and that is all he said until he was attacked. Furthermore, it is illogical to say Buffoonist is telling cloo24, whose earbuds may actually be defective for all we know, how to commit fraud because we don't know if cloo24 is seeking to fill out a repair form for an illegitimate purpose. Don't make baseless assumptions and then accuse someone of misconduct based on those assumptions.

If you're still looking for the earbuds, I have a pair still sealed in the original packaging from Apple: $20 including shipping. Let me know: jtoverman@hotmail.com
