I have an iTrip - bad recep. Recently bought an FM Modulator to connect directly through my stereo - but have not hooked it up yet. I really want to add a Line in jack to the stereo but am not sure how to do it.
its a factory Nissan Xterra 2004 CD/AM/FM ...

Unless there is an auxillary in, it would likely not be possible to hook up your iPod. You would probably have to buy a new headunit.
That is based on my limited knowledge of car audio, so don't flame me if i'm wrong.:p
If the HU has provision for a CD changer to be attached you can probably buy a third party kiy that will allow you to attach the iPod there.

Use this if you have a satellite ready radio with no sat already hooked up.
