Listening while charging?

Hi,

I'm unable to listen to my shuffle while it's charging. Is this normal, or am I doing something wrong?

When I tried, the shuffle was plugged into a USB 2 port directly on my G5 Mac; the battery light was amber. There was no file- or song-transfer going on at the time.

Whoops -- I accidently posted this in accessories/iPod shuffle instead of in the ipod Shuffle forum. Since there doesn't seem to be a way to delete this post, let me just say Sorry, I goofed. I've reposted in the proper place.
