First, does anyone know if you can use one of the iSees with the 30 GB photo? The photo is .63 inches deep. The 20GB iPod is .57 in. and the 40GB was .69 in. deep. So it's 0.06 inches off from either the iSee 20 or the iSee 40.

Second, how bulky is the Contour Design Showcase? Is it noticably ginormous, or just a little extra?

Thanks!

...The iSee will NOT WORK with the 30GB photo. The extra tight plastic housing wouldn't work with the 30GB photo, it would just damage it.

Ok, so the iSee 20 is too tight. What about the iSee 40? Would the 30 GB be swimming in it? Has anyone tried?

Unless you want a ton of scratches, the iSee 40 would be a bad idea. Really, the 40GB iPod is noticably thicker then these two iPods, so it will not work. The iSee is out of the question for photo owners.

Ok, thanks for the info. On the bright side, at least now I don't have to decide!

I disagree with Tomo_kun. I'm currently using a 40Gb Isee with my 30Gb Photo. True, the case doesn't fit exactly (a little too deep), I've been happy with it. The sleeve the ipod fits in keeps the ipod from moving in the case. I can budge it a little using my finger but when rotating the ipod in different directions, it doesn't move at all. I've been very happy with it. No problems with scratches.

I have an unopened 40Gb Isee available in the classified forums for $12 if you're interested . My wife bought one for me after I had already purchased one and we didn't feel like driving across town to return it. Let me know if you are interested.
