I would personally get the Shure E2c over the SOny 71SL, i owned both and the SHure sounded a lot better. However, the sony is way more comfortable to wear than shure.

How much is the Shure E2c costs?

Another thing, I heard that the Left ear bud cord is longer then the Right ear bud (or the other way around, I don't remember),
In that case how do I wear them on? Is they comfortable?
Another thing, whre can I get the best price for the sony 71?
I saw they costs 45$ on audiocubes.com, any one know of a better price (but not an used pair)?
Thanks a lot!
Ben

The apple in ears have a symmetrical cord, and I think they are comfortable and sound good. Ebay~$30, at lounge you might find them for less
Sony ex71-sound a little muddy to me, stay in well. $32 new
shures-supposed to and probably do sound a whole lot better, comfort may be less. If you look around on line they can be had for ~$55
hope i helped
I have another thread where I directly compared ex71' and the apples, if you care to read it
