I sent off my old iPod to applecare beginning of march so i could get the battery replaced. I got it back last night, and ive had problems allready.
I left it on charge over night, and this morning i plug it into the PC, the battery goes dead. So i charge it up again and then connect it.
Because AppleCare told me the whole thing had been formatted to work with a Mac, I would have to format it using the updater program. I tried that but I just get the message "iPod not connected".
I dont want to do the Windows Explorer format thingy because that will screw it up.
THis is really frustraiting to me because my old iPod used to work perfectly. Ive tried all the things on the Apple Support page and still no avail.
Im using Windows 2000 with service pack 4, have USB 2.0, and a 3G iPod (one with the touch wheel and seperate buttons)
Can anyone help me?
