Hey guys,

what's the best way to cover up the screen and click wheel on my mini? I've tried powerdesigns stuff, and PDA screen covers, but I always get bubbles that just ruin the look.

anyone know an-non bubbled waY? lol. thanks

Many Lajo cases have a built-in click wheel protection. I have a Lajo exoflpmini-fb and Lajo Ishades (hard plastic) screen protector. Both my clickwheel and screen are well protected.

Well you can go for an xRap which I purchased a few weeks ago. It is the thinnest case I know that's out there, yet is still very sturdy. It's ultra-clear and you slip the Mini inside and the click wheel and screen are protected. Highly recommended.

Right now I'm using PowerSupport's 3D Click Wheel cover and it is excellent. If you do it right, and it does take a lot of patience and accuracy, you won't get any bubbles whatsoever and you'll end up with a very nice shiny click wheel. I am also using a PDA screen protector sized for my screen and there's bubbles everywhere. It'll do for now but I'll be getting THESE (http://www.theistore.com/screenshield.html) in the near future.

i used a circle billabong surf brand sticker with a skull on it that just happened to be the exact same size as the scroll wheel for my 4th generation iPod

Wats the point of protecting the clickwheel?

To keep it pretty and white. :) That's why I would anyway...

i got me an ipodonut. comes with a screen protector. fits perfectly. no bubbles. and it's glow in the dark. silicon based sticky backing so it won't leave any residue. the white clickwheel gets real dirty real fast.

Is the wheel easy to clean? How would i clean it safely?

I thought about getting one of those, but after seeing a few pics I decided to go with PowerSupports 3D Cover. The iPodonut looked a bit thick and noticeably green, probably due to the glow-in-the-dark feature, whereas PowerSupport's are ultra-clear, thin, and also protects the center button.

i wish i had the center button covered. it's gotten really dirty. i tried wiping but it was no use! as for the thickness of the donut, it's not at all. infact the wheel is a little recessed, so it's a perfect fit. no protrusions at all. and it's only green in the dark.

Oh, alright. It looked a bit green in the pics, guess not.

When I first got my iPod Mini, there is already a click wheel protector which I didn't take out. And I put a case on it. So the only thing I need is the screen protector and I'm searching where to buy it. I'm thinking of buying an iShade. I saw one website that sells it but they said that it's coming soon. Maybe some website have it in stock now so I'll go search.

I myself, like many, also kept the sticker on that was on the clickwheel until I found one that was perfect. Powersupport's 3D Clickwheel cover is awesome. in my opinion, the best clickwheel cover out there.

Here's a pic. (http://myfilehut.com/userfiles/SeannyBoy84/iPod/Clickwheel)

You can buy it at this link HERE (http://powersupportusa.com/products/ipod/lp31.php). It's comes in a 2-pack for $12. That's with shipping. It adds a very nice gloss to the clickwheel, adds a bit more traction, and just looks good. If you do decide to get it, I reccommend taking it slow and have a lot of patience. My cousin ruined his in 1 minute.

All silicone cases that I know of collect dust. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about it but wipe it off occasionally. I have read that washing it with soap and water and letting it air dry helps a bit. I don't have any experience with the iShades, so can't help you there.
