I want the exact opposite of noise-cancelling earphones. I want to know if there are any headphones out there that let you hear your music and also allow you to heqar your surroundings?

I need a pair like that for work. I don't need any sort of incredible sound and I would like them to be releatively cheap and comfortable.

Any ideas?

Or those old headphones that go over your head.

The Apple stocks are pretty decent headphones, given what they are.

Nike Flight earbuds let a lot of noise in. I use them for jogging where there is car traffic.

If you're going to be using them at work, you might as well get a full-size headphone. Check out the Grado SR-60 and SR-80, or the Sennheiser PX100. The SR-60 is a great deal at about $60.

I'd suggest the Grado if you're looking for something good quality, as they let sound in (and out) like nothing else. Comfort may be a problem though. Another (cheaper) 'sonic sieve' is the Sennheiser PX100, which is probably better than the SR60 for long-term wearing comfort.

On the other hand, if you're looking for headphones that let in outside noise but do not leak noise to the outside, then the Sony Eggo D22/D66 are your answer. I'd suggest going straight for the D66. The phones are smaller than you think and are quite comfortable.
