Casette Converter problem

Hi, I bought a casette adapter from radio shack, but every minute or so my car spits the tape out with an error message about not being able to turn the spools. Anyone else having this problem? Is this a problem with the adapter, or my car?

Welcome to the lounge. Do other tapes play in your car? Are you putting it in the right way? If other tapes play except this one then I would return it for a new one or a refund.
