I'm making a custom armband for the shuffle (not wasting $40 when i came make one for $5), and i have everything ready except 1 thing. how do i get the shuffle on the armband. any ideas? i made a small plastic case for the shuffle (very thin) just to protect it, and i would like it to be able to be attached to the armband. i need something that won't fall if i run, but also can be turned upside down (when doing different exercises) and can be removed for usage without the armband. i made the armband with velcro like the armband apple sells, but can't get their ipod holder. thanks!

many people just use a piece of elastic tight enough to keep shuffle in place.
I personally used a leather holder that I sewed onto a headband

or you can get one for really cheap on ebay

i have the shuffle in a small plastic case (mainly to protect from scratches and stuff), and i would like to just be able to "attach" it to the armband. would a piece of velcro on each fall off, or would it keep them together? sewing is a good idea too, i could sew the plastic case like you did, but i would like a little more flexibility (and protection for the shuffle when not with the armband)

You could get sticky velcro to put on your plastic case, but the velcro on the armband would have to be sewn on.
I personally kinda hate velcro (and sewing it is a son of a b***h)
you could make/buy a slightly larger case, sew it on teh band and put you ips in its plastic case in that.

i just made one, i put a small pastic case around the shuffle and put velcro on it, and velcro on the armband too. it works great, and i got someone to sew it for me ;)
