Getting a tiny bit frustrated here. I have been a long-time iPod/iTunes fan, have a 40GB iPod running on my Windows 2000 machine with no problems.
I got a 1GB shuffle for a gift, which I also love (use them both for different reasons).
Problem? Well... more often than not, if I attempt to sync my shuffle and then go to another window (i.e., make the itunes window inactive), it locks up. And then my only recourse is to take out the shuffle when it's still updating, which means that it suddenly isn't recognized by my machines, and I usually have to initially sync it as a new shuffle on another machine.
No PC/Mac bashing, please, our house has windows/apple/unix/linux all happily cohabitating. It appears that my only recourse is to sync it as a new shuffle on an Apple.
But the core problem is why does it keep locking up?
Anyone else having this problem?
